ComposePocket is a songwriting sketch app: build a song's structure with parts (Verse, Chorus, Inst, …), then layer notes, chords, and lyrics in a note sequencer to quickly compose and play. FAQ
- How do I create a song? Add a song, then use Add part to create sections like Verse and Chorus, and add measures inside a part to enter notes and chords. You can place the same part multiple times and set how many times it repeats.
- Can I move the playback position? Click a measure/beat marker in the sequencer (the left column in portrait; the top ruler in landscape and on Mac), or a note on the staff — playback jumps there. When you stop, it stays at that position and resumes from there next time.
- Are there keyboard shortcuts on Mac? Press the space bar to play or pause.
- Can I view it as sheet music? Use the score (🎵) icon at the top of the sequencer to toggle between the note grid and the staff.
- Can I export to other apps? From a song's Share/Export menu, export MusicXML, MIDI, a printable PDF, or the native (.ccp) format. Mobile uses the share sheet; Mac opens a file save dialog so you can save straight where you want.
- Can I change tempo or groove? Use the ♩=N button at the top: the [Tempo] and [Groove] tabs set BPM (song, part, or measure), beat accents, and swing — and you can toggle the metronome during playback.
- Can I change the language? Tap the language icon (🌐) at the top of the song list to choose System default, 한국어, or English.
- Can I remove ads? The paid Mac version has no ads. On iPhone/iPad/Android, only the free, ad‑supported version is available for now.
